Spice up your hiking holiday with a family tour on the trail “WoodyWalk”. The adventure route on Mount Plose leads along various wooden stations on a panoramic path with a great view of the Isarco Valley and the Dolomites. It takes about 1.5 hours, is suitable even for prams and offers climbing opportunities, a Viking ship, a Kneipp facility, the “Ploseblitz” and many other attractions for young and old. Warning, you may get wet! A change of clothes is therefore recommended for children. Would you like to give your holiday in the Isarco Valley near Bressanone even more moxie? No problem: With its 9 km the longest toboggan run in South Tyrol, the “RudyRun” is an attractive route for three-wheeled mountain carts in the summer, where you and your children may race down to the valley station of the cable car.

Mount Plose is also a paradise for mountain bikers. The Bressanone Bike Park stretches across the entire mountain with four lines: from easy to challenging. The trails designed by professionals offer everything that bikers could wish for. If you want to take it a little easier, you may simply enjoy a family bike tour on a mountain bike along the “Keschtnweg” (Chestnut Trail): From Bressanone it leads through the Isarco Valley to Velturno and on to Bolzano. We have our private lockable cellar where you may park your bicycle. Alternatively, you may even admire South Tyrol from above – by booking a paraglider flight from Mount Plose! A tandem flight is also a wonderful idea for a surprising birthday present during your vacation in the Isarco Valley near Bressanone.

It may get hot in mid- summer – Too hot for hiking in the mountains? Yet, the perfect weather for a wonderful dip in the cool water. You don’t have to go far: In Bressanone, the Acquarena offers a modern water park, where you can easily spend an entire relaxing summer day together with your family. Several pools – from children’s basins to salt-water pools – a sunbathing area and culinary offers are available in the open air.
