Families with children are always welcome at the farm Zimmererhof in the Isarco Valley. While your children may play and romp freely in the open nature and discover our farm, you can make yourself comfortable on our large lawn. Relax, let your mind wander, and look forward to the barbecue evening on the farm. For a family vacation on the farm with the highest level of comfort, you can use the washing machine, rotary clothes dryer and iron. In order to get to know South Tyrol from its most beautiful side as soon as you arrive in Bressanone, we will be happy to pick you up from the bus stop in Plancios and take you back there on the day of departure. Young guests will have a particularly good time here with us. There are cots, baby seats, toys, painting as well as handicraft utensils available for them during a family holiday on the farm. Many small and large adventures await you around the house, in the stable with the animals or at the nature playground, where you’ll find a swing, a slide, a sandbox, darts, skittles and a pedal tractor. Of course, your kids can watch us farmers feed the cattle and pigs or even give us a hand. This way, they will soon make friends with the farm animals. You will not believe how much fun your children will have while gathering eggs in the chicken coop followed by stroking the rabbits.
After the South Tyrolean sun has woken you up, a hearty breakfast with our delicious home-made farm products is a natural choice. We will be happy to put together a breakfast basket the hole year for you and organize a fresh bread delivery service. The basket contains, for example, eggs from our chickens, homemade juices, jams from our sun-ripened berries, homemade pastries, and spicy bacon (“Speck”). Furthermore, our breakfast basket is filled with fresh bread rolls from the local baker, farm cheese, South Tyrolean butter, yoghurt and milk, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea. You should definitely try our seasonal vegetables from the farm garden and our aromatic herbs. Of course, you can also take the taste of the Isarco Valley home with you. Our product corner has plenty to offer – aromatic raspberry, blackberry, strawberry and currant fruit spread, elderflower, lemon balm, mint and rosemary syrup, free range eggs from happy chickens, spicy bacon, and seasonal vegetables from our farm garden.
Allow me to introduce myself: I am Katharina Bacher, your hostess on the farm Zimmererhof in Bressanone. Your well-being is particularly important to me, which is why you may talk to me about your wishes and needs at any time during your most beautiful time of the year. I passionately believe in the South Tyrolean hospitality out of tradition and responsibility. I also take loving care of the animals that live here at the farm – cattle, pigs, rabbits and chickens.
